Supporting Island Voyagers as they row around the UK for the Honeypot Children's Charity

Baxter Thompson Associates are proud to be a sponsor of Jeremy Webb, a Business Relationship Manager from The University of Southampton, and his crew of four as they attempt to row non-stop around the UK in aid of The Honeypot Children's Charity, who offer respite breaks and outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children, many of whom would otherwise have nowhere to turn.

On the 8th July, a team of four people, including Business Relationship Manager Jeremy Webb, will be setting off from Southampton to row non-stop and unassisted around the UK. They have enough food and supplies on board to last 26 days. The current world record for this feat is 26 days and 9 hours for an all-male crew. We wish Island Voyagers all the best in meeting their target.

The Honeypot Children's Charity works to enhance the lives of children aged from 5 to 12. They are the only charity in the UK to provide respite breaks and on-going outreach support throughout a child’s formative years. Many of the children they help are carers, and Honeypot aim to provide support to give these children they break they need to be children - you can find out more about their work at HoneyPot Children's Charity

From June 8th, we will be closely following the progress of the crew as they make their way, night and day, around the often treacherous coast of the UK in all weathers. We will keep our fingers crossed for fair weather and a forgiving sea, and hope to see them back in Southampton not too long after the 4th July. You can folow their progress on social media using #IslandVoyagers and #BRowBeater2017
