Top Challenges Debate
Strategic IT Partner Forum June
How does this work?
Submit a brief description of the problem. Here, be prepared to lead the conversation if the topic is nominated on the day and then at the event itself, we will post all of the challenges and questions in the hall for
you to peruse during the breaks and vote once for their favourite topic. At the session itself, people who choose to attend will split into small groups, one topic per group with the aim to gain further insight on the challenge in question.
You will then have the opportunity to feedback to the rest of the session attendees your findings. Jon will then select one of the discussion topics to be used as a case study for the next session "Helping People Change the Way they Work", meaning not only you have shared your experiences on a knotty issue, but you may well end up with a practical plan to take home! (this means you need to stay for the 2nd session too).

Something slightly different from the normal bio - 3 big ideas:
1) In order to stay in business, our organisations need help thinking more strategically.
2) In order to add most value we need to specialise in one industry and one technology to understand the opportunities and threats that technology can have in a business.
3) Strategic IT Partners can be the agents of (disruptive, revolutionary) technology change in an organisation. Willing to share with you on how this can be acheived through thought leadership and discussion at the forum.
Apart from this, I'm a keen yachtsman, I trained as an engineer, I spent over 5 years in France, and I'm married to an Italian. No pets, no kids (current status). Baxter Thompson Associates is my second business venture (3 years +) and I think Brompton bikes are cool.
