Online Forum Usage Policy:

In using this online forum, you agree that any information you submit is your responsibility to manage and update. Baxter Thompson Ltd reserve the right to remove information and / or withdraw access to those users who they see as not upholding the spirit of the common sense forum guidelines.   • Someone who has partnered with us to develop business, deliver content, intellectual property, participate in events, workshops and training courses on the above domains

What we do with your data and how do we engage with you:

Within the limits agreed by our commercial agreement, we may:

  • Create a public profile as a Baxter Thompson Associate on our website and any other form of online or offline marketing material. We may raise your public profile through established marketing means such as but not limited to email campaigns, marketing campaigns on social media, search engine optimisation and professional networking platforms
  • Provide you with a unique user account and feature to set your own password, perform IP address logging for online forum subscribers to protect system security, provide your user account with features on Baxter Thompson systems in order to conduct activities specified in the commercial agreement and subject to a separate system usage policy.   • Communicate with you directly to manage such artefacts as, but not limited to; marketing content, intellectual property, events, projects, campaigns, administration detail.

What you can do to manage your data:

  • In addition to the actions outlined in the previous roles, you can discuss directly with a director of Baxter Thompson Ltd for any enquiry you may have.

Customers and Suppliers

In addition to roles above (except the associate role), you are:

  • Someone who has entered into a commercial agreement for the provision of services either from or to Baxter Thompson Ltd 
  • Someone soliciting a commercial agreement or engaging in the pre-contractual steps acting either as a customer with the intent to purchase from or a supplier with the intent to supply to Baxter Thompson Ltd.

What data do we collect?

  • Financial transaction information based on the services that we provide to you or that you provide to us.
  • Where necessary, background financial checks on your company’s performance, sourced from third party suppliers.

What we do with your data and how we engage with you:

Within the limits agreed by our current commercial agreement, or our draft commercial agreement we may: 

  • Communicate with you directly to manage such artefacts as, but not limited to; marketing content, intellectual property, events, projects, campaigns, administration detail
  • Gather additional address detail to complete online payments.
  • We do not store your credit card details. All credit card details are entered directly online via secure encrypted HTTPS link into our Payment Provider’s portal.
  • Provide you with a user account and with features on Baxter Thompson systems in order to conduct activities specified in the commercial agreement and subject to a separate system usage policy. Perform IP address logging to protect system security
  • Communicate with you directly to manage and communicate such artefacts as, but not limited to; marketing content, intellectual property, events, projects, campaigns, administration detail

What you can do to manage your data and your privacy

In addition to the steps outlined in the previous roles, you can notify us of your intent to stop soliciting a commercial agreement or engaging in the pre-contractual steps.
